I could share this one with a thousand different people – I came into this industry with not a lick of experience and there were countless numbers (including Wayne himself!) who taught me how all this works.

I think it is also a reflection of the great individuals who work at ShareASale so I am sharing it with them as well. As most of you know, I used to run this by myself which, while entertaining, was not a good long term model. As i’ve added people to our company I’ve been enourmously lucky that they not only share my ideas and create great new ones to help us build a quality affiliate network – but are also fun folks to be around.

Wait – now you’re going to want to steal them…. Nevermind… they are all terrible.

Quite the contrary. I suspect that decision was instrumental in making ShareASale.com the success that they are today. Choosing the other path may result in short-term gains, but at a big long-term cost.

It’s never a mistake to run a business ethically.
