The Pitt’s Baby “Registry”
It’s my lunch break. And I will blog to my hearts content. Mr. & Mrs Smith just had a baby girl. Mazal Tov. They named their daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. An OK name if you ask me, though Shmuly is ALSO a hot name.
So, inspired by a lunch-hunch, I went to the WHOIS directory to check up on the status on the URL ShilohNouvelJolie-Pitt.com. Guess what? The domain name has already been purchased! It gets better. Way better. The Administrative/Technical Contact listed is none other than…

Lavely is a well known law firm with many celebrity client. They’re obviously worth every penny; my best guess is that Lavely, not the Pitt’s, registered the site. The only things I’d have done differently are 1) buy the name for 3 years minimum (why worry about it later?) & 2) paid the extra few bucks to keep the WHOIS info hidden from public eye.
The site was created on May 27th, 2006 at 8:27 PM, the same day the baby was born! Remember that the 27th was on a Saturday! It was purchased for one year. What they intend on doing with it….I haven’t a clue. Maybe they’ll post baby pictures there. Of course, a fake Myspace account has already been created under this name…

I am the one that picked up that Damon domain. I am sending it to Matt Damons people at no cost. I am starting a foundation that protects domain names for businesses and celebrities and this is my first domain! It is a non-profit and all money that is raised or donated is used to register domains for protection and/or donated to charity.
