Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon. Also want a give a shout out to the transgender readers of revenews. Thanks for being here!
Why do I blog here this afternoon? Well , for one, my personal blog might be taking a long vacation. (WINK, WINK. SNORT. SNORT. If you catch my drift….)
Also wanted to give you an update. While all the online merchants and portals are busy with their shopping stuff…Google is doing the same exact thing.
This is a Google Checkout Holiday banner I spotted earlier this afternoon, whilst fervently slacking off. This is the Google Shopping landing page.
In typical Google fashion, the shopping guide is simple and clean.
On a side note that is personal as well, or to rephrase “on a personal side note”, last weekend I made a purchase at buy.com using Google Checkout. I bought the second season of Lost and the first season of Prison Break. On DVD. Not Vhs.
This afternoon, Lost showed up at my door, while Prison Break failed to make an appearance. It seems as if my Prison Break DVD’s have now officially become Lost too! Hehe.
Perhaps, on a different occasion, I can share my thoughts on the actual Google Checkout process; both from the merchant end and the customer side. But for now, I will leave off with the latest from Geckout.
Unsurprisingly, BabiesRUs and ToysRUs have both joined Geckout. Remember, they’re part of the GSI clan. Non-GSI additions include ebags.com & jr.com.
Also, (this I thought was cool) Geckout has charity section too! “Google will add $10 to your first donation of $30 or more.” Geck it out!

Ah, forget that show. Try to get on Donald Trump’s Apprentice, that’s a show I watch. I think that would be a fun show to watch with you on it. And then put in some good words for me with his daughter.
I’m all for fun, what’s the purpose of this post really?
About Google Checkout, somebody really needs to do a blog about this:

Possible tracking issues for affiliates with merchants using Google Checkout.
