Dear readers of revenews, I’d like to begin with wishing you all a good afternoon. And a very happy new year.
Anyways, there is an expression (maybe even a bumper sticker) that goes like this: “all good things must come to an end”.
At first, I did not trust that statement. Afterall, it’s just a statement. However, after Arrested Development became no more, I had no choice but to accept this harsh reality of good things ending.
Which brings me to this blog post. My dear friends; this post is my final blog entry on revenews.com. It was fun while it lasted and enjoyed each moment. However, there comes a point in each of our lives when we must ask ourselves; when is it enough? Revenews gave me the opportunity to live like a rockstar.
Private airplanes, mansions, champagne, hot tubs, flat screen tv’s. It’s all great. And good. And as mentioned above, all good things must come to an end.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to blog for you. If you feel the sudden urge to get in contact with me, my email is shmuelt. My email provider was the same company that acquired YouTube.
Good night and good luck.
Shmuly
Let me be the first to say goodbye here Shmuly, although I did know that you’d be going into the witness program protection program weeks ago.
It’s been a great ride, you’ve certainly inspired me to be more creative and to have more fun, so for that I thank you.
See you at the summit and keep those ideas flowing.
Farewell Shmuly.
I wish you (and your Bubby) the best.
Good luck and keep us in touch with your latest encounters with correctional fluids.
We’ll be watching!
To paraphrase Eisenhower’s comment after visiting Churchhill on his death bed: “I said goodbye to Shmuly but you can never say goodbye to courage.”
** Sorry to see you go, I am sure you are on to some incredible adventures in your career. I look forward to crossing paths with you again and hope it might be on a Gulfstream!
Good Luck See you soon!
I am not as informed as most readers (hey, I am just writing here hehe). What’s the reason for this?
I hope not the “oh my god, I did that for a exactly one year now and If I continue then it will be a commitment for life… But I am not ready for a relationship yet!” … that sort of things… no?! .. mmh.. thought so.. would have been to obvious..
No, what is it… thanks and good luck… good video work by the way. I see a Kevin Smith of marketing career in the not so distant future formulating..
This is shocking. The only good thing about it is now there is more champagne and flat screen TV’s for me. Don’t forget to turn in your keys to the private jet.
Much love,
Todd
Say it ain’t so!!!
At least I’ll get to watch you weeknights on The Daily Show. I can’t believe that Jon Stewart found you on YouTube and tracked you down. Way to go, Shmuly!!!
