I have yet to attend an affiliate summit. Would love to though. Everyone I know has gone. And has had a great time. I feel so left out.
The people. The drinks. The hotels. The people. The drinks. The hotels. Sometimes when I get really excited, I repeat myself.
Just so you, sometimes when I get really excited, I repeat myself.
I’d love to attend the next affiliate summit. As a YouTube reporter with a camcorder. (that rhymes!)
Shawn Collins pointed out to me, that there is a way to attend the conference for free. Without even needing to marry into the family of Steve Denton.
All you need to do is create a YouTube commercial for the Affiliate Summit. Contest rules here.
Anyways, it’s real late at night now. And you know what that means.
It means that I have created my own YouTube commercial for the summit. Watch it here!
I better win this contest!
Best description of affiliate marketing community I’ve ever seen.
Shmul you win the most Honest Man in Affiliate Marketing award. You are on a fast track to being more hated than I. Congratulations and “Continued Success!”
Shmuly, I am laughin’ out loud. [Who the hell does this guy think he is?!?] This video is brilliant! [What an a$$*%^@!] You should win the contest. [Ban this guy from Revenews.] See you in Vegas. [Burn in hell.]
Karen Garcia is on the Phone with me talking me down right now.. Talk me down KAREN…Talk me down..
It’s not a contest - so long as people conform to the guidelines, the video is acceptable.
Too funny. Don’t think we needed the F word though? Would still be funny without it I think?
“Too funny. Don’t think we needed the F word though? Would still be funny without it I think?”
Very unprofessional from a Revenews Blogger.
Just kidding.
Sometimes you have to say the “F” word to make it work and frankly I hear it all the time in business conversations. Let’s not get puritanical. I think it was great, satirical and got the message across he was thinking. Many will disagree, complain, but then again they will come back for more or they won’t but it’s showed up in my maibox more than once. A clickaudit firm should be sponsoring him.
Great work schmule….please take the video curator position at Revenews I sent note on. A dose of this once a week and I wouldn’t need relaxation therapy…oh man you are not a blogger your a satirist and even better in video.
You are a perfect example of an indie artist- that doesn’t know it yet!
That was a satire Wayne? I thought it was a documentary.
The above movie has been rated PG13 for Adult Language. (They use the sch*mck word)
That was the most useful bit of information I’ve seen come out of Revenews for a long time. You keep tellin’ it like it is, Shmul. Next thing you know you’ll fire up the ire of Performics’ CEO and he’ll post a comment.
Wow Trust. I think there’s a shot that you’ll agree that this is just another classic example of bloggers wanting it both ways. They want to have no limits yet, at the same time, have limits… rules but then no rules. They want to be an “A-lister” (also known as a publisher… not to be confused with an “affiliate”) but then again that kind of achievement makes them a sell-out. Ridiculous.
lol, I think the funniest thing is watching Jeff’s and some other’s giddiness over it. I guess it’s better than another self or buddy promotion thread.
Kellie,
A bit of both.
The bottom line was that Shmule (or the words in video) reflected truths about the industry that we haven’t all thought of all before at least once. Not always nor for everyone.
Am I one of the shmucks at Revenews? You bet. Not always but I have raised ire. Nothing wrong with that.
His video happened to assault all that was bad, even though not all is bad. It was a frank look in the mirror for problems this industry has faced for a long time and will continue to face.
Braveo. Encore. Encore. Given time I plan to curate it at the Revenews channel soon to be launched. Shmule relayed he was doing it for fun- and that is fine. Good he is having fun and expressing himself.

LOL Wayne….I was making a joke.
Actually, I think it’s a docudrama. A documentary of all the drama in the Industry.
What I really think is that it was dang funny! I’m from S. La. and we live for this kind of humor. We love to make fun of ourselves, and Lord knows we have plenty of opportunities. Being able to laugh about stuff in a crazy world helps you keep your sanity.
So thanks Shmuly for helping me keep my sanity! I haven’t had a really good laugh like that in awhile; I was overdue for one.
Vegas Anyone?
Good Thursday to all. First of all, there is a new loyalty program in town. Their official launch was this past Tuesday. uTango is focused on being a long-term loyalty program that will deliver serious rewards. (Not that I am…
