CJU 2008 Dates Announced

Commission Junction has announced the dates for this year’s CJU client event, September 16-18 2008. It’s nice to see that it remains in Santa Barbara this year. They have been busting at the seams at the Fess Parker Doubletree Resort, the largest venue in SB, and I’ve heard mutterings in the past of having to hold it somewhere else. It just wouldn’t be the same.

There is one notable change this year, however, which is the days of the week that it falls on. CJU has always started on Sunday night and wrapped up on Tuesday. This year, it kicks off on Tuesday afternoon for the pre-show education sessions and Tuesday night for the reception with the main conference days being Wednesday and Thursday. That’ll change the complexion of this trip a little without the abutting weekend.

If you’re going, book your rooms early. The hotel always sells out quickly.
