buy.at’s Affiliate WidgAt Reporting Platform

buy.at is certainly blazing a path that all networks need to follow with it’s new Affiliate WidgAt.  Thanks to ABestWeb member Jonathan (Trust) for the link:

We have just launched an interactive reporting tool for your desktop.

Affiliates can now receive real-time data straight to their desktop thanks to buy.at’s Affiliate WidgAt. The free software, exclusively for buy.at affiliates, provides easy access to daily data such as sales, number of transactions and clicks, EPC and last commission.

Affiliates can even customize their WidgAt from the data it displays, its size, to whether it plays a sound every time you get a new transaction.

I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it… widgets can transform your business both in terms of productivity (sites like Netvibes or iGoogle are perfect examples) or even your bottom line (such as the ShareASale widgets).  However, this sort of innovation from buy.at is only going to push more members of the affiliate community into realizing the functionality and power of these decentralized platforms and create the demand for similar services from all of the networks.
