PPC Arbitrage Panel at eComXpo

Jeremy Palmer is leading a panel for the upcoming eComXpo on PPC Search Affiliate Arbitrage with Vinny Lingham, Catherine Seda, and me on the panel. It should be a good session. We will be pre-recording the panel discussion soon and Jeremy has put out a request for questions on his Blog.

    My question:

    How do you think the latest announcement from Google that it will soon show advertisers a list of sites their ads are being shown on (On the content network) will effect arbitrage?

    I for one do not use the content network because of PPC arbitrage and poor quality sites.

    Is the game up?

    Dave,

    I think that the combination of having a list of where your ads might appear combined with the ability to opt out of sites and the somewhat new ability to set differed bid prices in the content network, might actually make bidding in the content network more appealing for me.

    As for the junk spam sites looking for traffic, I think it will make it a lot harder for them to continue to make the kind of money they are making today, and might make it easier for people to report them and get them shut down.
