Nominees Wanted for Annual Email Awards 2007!
MarketingSherpa will present their second annual Email Awards on March, 5 2007 at their annual Em@il Marketing Summit + Bootcamp, Awards and Expo in Miami, Florida.
The 3 days summit will be held from March 4th, 2007 to the 6th and expects 650 attendees from all types of industries that engage in email marketing.
The topics covered include:
- How to grow your list faster — with names that respond
- How to tweak your creative design for better results (including A/B and multivariate test Case Studies.)
- How to automate personalized, high-impact campaigns including welcome series, purchase reminders, lead nurturing, loyalty generating, etc.
- How to avoid filters and improve delivery (for permission mailers only.)
- How to better measure engagement, test results, true delivery, and value-per-name (far beyond the open and click.)
- Fresh content ideas to give your email newsletter new life
The Sherpa is still seeking for nominees for the award. If you think that you did a great job and a stellar email campaign last year, you deserve to be recognized by your peers. It also proofs the fact to your colleagues and executives that might not realized it yet.
If you think that you somebody you know fits this description, sign up until February, 16th 2007 and submit your nomination in one of the following 10 categories:
- Best opt-in (email list growth) campaign
- Best Email Newsletter for marketing purposes
- Best Promotional Blast – Direct Sale or Lead Gen Offer
- Best Single Welcome letter to new subscribers
- Best Automated Series (auto responder)
- Best Triggered Personalized Email
- Best viral email campaign
- Best Super-brief postcard-style (short copy/small creative) campaign
- Best (or most dramatic) test you learned from
- Best Non-Email Opt-In Messaging (RSS, SMS/mobile, desktop app, podcast)
The nomination form will ask for:
- The Category the nomination if for
- Your name and anyone else we should credit with the winning campaign
- Written description of the campaign
- A creative sample from the campaign (online or uploaded)
- Results of the campaign (yes, can be secret for Sherpa eyes only)

The Awards Show where the winners will be announced will be at Bongo’s Cuban Cafe on March 5th from 6-9pm.
