Larger Lessons from Facebook Tips Piece

December 26th, 2007 by Mike Murray

The public view of a new MarketingSherpa Facebooks tips article end January 3. It’s worth filing away, but not only in view of Facebook. The suggestions that revolve around showcasing expertise, participation and creativity can apply to many social networks. An added value is the implied reminder about the time involved. For example, some folks in the search/online marketing world pretend to be their clients. Honestly, I think it’s the clients’ responsibility to be themselves in these communities. Consultants can show them the way, even get some profiles going. And they can point out some niche/smaller social networks that may pay off. Engage in communities and make the most of a few rather than try everything under the sun.
