Hey Mike

It's going to take a lot of effort to beat out Google they are much more advanced in their search engine technology (algorithm)

the fact that so many people are used to searching on Google it would be hard for them to change their habits and use a new search engine (especially the large populations that doesn't know much about internet browsing)

Mike, I'm not taking sides here but this article sounds very one sided. You hardly mentioned any of the accomplishments either of these competitors have made this year or what plans they have announced for the future. Google is a great company and have a great suite of products. Yet, you talk about them as if they are infallible. They are run by people and people are flawed. We all make mistakes and in both personal and professional areas of our lives. That being said, even though Google may be the Goliath of search there is always a possibility of a David that will knock them down. Will Bing or Wolfram Alpha be the one? Who knows but let's not assume that Google is untouchable.
