Snubbed By Google News Yet Again!

Ok, we all know I’m a greedy, dirty, stinkin’ publisher who’s job it is to promote this website. So I again, take no shame in saying that I’ve been trying to get ReveNews listed in the natural Google News index since I took over. This latest attempt, my third, was once again denied.

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your note. We reviewed http://www.revenews.com but cannot
add it to Google News because we currently only include sites with news
articles that report on recent events. We appreciate your suggestion and
will log the site for consideration should our guidelines change.

According to their website, they say…

Here’s my argument to Google, to no avail.

1. ReveNews IS by far the most reputable news source in this niche. Not including us is like leaving your best player out of the game. Who are they getting their online revenue news from? Some outdated and untimely magazine like Fortune? It appers so…

2. ReveNews DOES concentrate on current news and events in our industry. Just because we write analysis, trends and commentary, does that not make it news and relevant?

I won’t be submitting again Google, you had your chance! Maybe a little prayer would work better?
