I have to concur with Chris Peterson. It IS good to finally come across some information about the new FTC guidelines which isn't full of doom and gloom, or how this will see the end of online marketing as we know it. As you said, it would be good if it did, in the sense of getting rid of the plethora of Acai sites and the like. Like you, I shall be waited with breathe that is baited to see what the future holds in light of the changes. Thank you for sharing your insights.

I've been a fan of disclosure since long before my partnership with Demand Studios. When you work hard for several years to build trust within a community, the last thing you want to do is blow that trust by endorsing something just for the sake of endorsing it. What I like about disclosure is that I think many bloggers will be less spammy about their paid or sponsored posts. Readers don't like to be made to feel everything is a pitch.

You know what, this is the first among the many posts i have read, which tries to show that there is a positive way to look at it. I am impressed with that itself enough to know that you are not really worried to go against the wave.
Admirable quality, indeed!
A post with significance than a post lost in blogosphere.
