Heather,

I am heading up on Tuesday for ad tech. Too easy to take the train to NY when you are on the East Coast. I should be there T/W/Th. I will trade in the xyz drink for flat beer at some table in the exhibit hall.

Shawn,

I never make those calls until I meet someone. I have often found that the act of getting the card tells me the most about someone. For example, the averted eyes with crumpled, stuffed card into my hand let's me know that I can do business with them, but at some point I might be arrested. Very handy.

Incidentally, I have a slot reserved in "need to buy" for you and Affiliate Summit. I will be swinging by your booth Tuesday.

Shawn,

It appears based on his current categorical list that he would be better to create an entirely new one for my card.. hee

> If I get a card from you at Ad-tech, it goes in there.

Which category would Heather's card go into?

I have started using a Poly Expanding File to organize my cards from shows. I use the checkbook size, which has a top bungee to trap them all, and tabs. It fits into my bag, and the expanding size will take as many cards as i get. Also waterproof, which is actually important as the booze flows freely.

The tabs allow me to organize into categories that i won't completely list, but usually consist of some combo of: need to sell(to them), need to buy (from them), need to learn (more about what they do), full of bleep (never take their call), etc.

I bought mine for 3 bucks or so.

Here is a similar one:

<a href="http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=477072" rel="nofollow">http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=4...</a>
