My week-long vacation in Turks & Caicos is coming to a close tomorrow, and as I sit by the pool, reading a few emails and checking reports in my various affiliate accounts, I can’t help but thinking how GREAT it is to be an Internet Entrepreneur. (I’ll wear my “The Internet is Awesome” t-shirt to a reggae bar tonight.)
Here I sit, lounging next to the pool, and between email and Skype, almost NO ONE knows I’ve been sipping tropical island drinks and snorkeling much of the past 6 days! Plus, thanks to eCreditCards, my bank account will be fuller than before I left!
Since this is a business blog, I’ll interrupt my lazy lounger with two quick comments:
1) I don’t particularly care for trial lawyers, but about 2 years ago, a friend of a friend who sues people for a living asked me if I had any ideas for potential class action cases. I mentioned to him that SOMEONE was going to make some money in a click-fraud lawsuit against Google or Y!/Overture. I don’t know what it cost the lawyers in this recent case to take on Google, but their take is about $30M.
2) For all of you readers on the east coast, I’ll betcha Turks & Caicos real estate is a good play. With non-stop flights from NY and Boston, and only about 3-hour travel time, this place is going to become even more popular! Everyone speaks English (it is, after all the British West Indies), the currency is the US $, and I’ll put the white sandy beaches and turquoise waters up against anywhere else I’ve ever traveled.
