How To Recruit Your 1st Affiliates…
Alright before you even start reading, if you’re a very well experienced affiliate manager, this “particular” post and video is probably not for you. I have had a lot of “beginner level managers” and others just starting their own site/affiliate program ask me how they should recruit their first batch of affiliates.

So, the big fan of videos that I am, I made a video for them - this particular video is very basic and introductory - but I thought I’d make it available here as well…

The video basically discusses two main strategies:
1. Using Overture to find a good keyword for your niche and then Googling that keyword to see who ranks the best and then contacting that person…
2. Using Yahoo.com to do a linkdomain: command and see who is linking to your “competitors” or others selling products similar to yours…

Hi Anik!
I heard you recently on a IEC recording about, affiliates and how you do work in that area.
I got approached recently and was asked if i had an affiliate program!
I didnt, and don’t! but during my course of investigating the options, I’m more confused than ever as there are many affiliate programs out there (i would of used assoctrac….but it’s no longer available)
Do you recommend any programs or software?
