Some People Are Just Lazy
My friend Anne from Clevermoms.com was doing some searching of her domain tonight on Google and came across some interesting things. Thanks Anne for bringing this to my attention.
Some people will do just about anything to make a buck, even if it infringes on others. I don’t mind people linking to my site mind you. But I don’t like being used. I don’t like people using my site or other’s sites and names for search engine listings just to advertise their Google Ads.
They have no content of their own. They put up the details and names of other sites to get listed in the search engines, hoping when someone searches for FlamingoWorld they will come across their site instead. Then maybe those people will click on their Google Ads and they make money.
I don’t like people making money off my name.
If you do a search on FlamingoWorld in Google, you see ads on the right side. Other sites are bidding on my name to make a buck.
Can’t people actually put some work into their site, build up some useful content, build up their own reputation so they don’t have to ride on the coat tails of others?
