ShoeMoney – Will the Real ShoeMoney Please Stand Up!

Anyone who has been around affiliate marketing for any length of time has probably heard of ShoeMoney at one point or another. Jeremy Shoemaker aka ShoeMoney is an affiliate marketer and has a podcast on Webmaster Radio called Net Income. I have to confess, I don’t know a whole lot about ShoeMoney and have just recently started listening to his podcasts. My initial impressions are he is someone worth listening to and someone you could learn a lot from. Anybody who has received a check like this from Google probably has some interesting incites

Interestingly though, after I started listening to his podcast, I started to notice a different ShoeMoney logo appearing at the end of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and did a little digging. It turns out the ShoeMoney productions is the name of Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme firm. Could there be confusion in the marketplace? Maybe Shoemaker will be forced to change his name?

Anyone have some good ideas for Jeremy’s new name? Here are a few:

SlipperMoney, CrocMoney, ShoemakerMoney, ShoeDollar, ShoePenny, ShoeYen….

Keep up the great work ShoeMoney!!!

P.S. – Hey Jeremy, if your reading this, if you really get in a jam I might be willing to sell you ShoeZam.com, but right now I am using that as a new test shoe search engine site using Google’s CSE product.

Hehe.. nice post Adam. ShoeZam.com, another site marketers have to add to their "blocked for wife list", to prevent the spending of a months worth of income in a matter of minutes ;)

Jeremy is actually pretty "new", at least his public life. I think it started at the end of 2005 or beginning 2006. See the <a href="http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url =www.shoemoney.com” target=”_blank”>Alexa Ranking Trend for ShoeMoney.com.

Shoe is actually big time into CPA (AzoogleAds in particular … Ring tones :) ) and less involved in classic affiliate marketing. He is a nice and honest guy though which is not "typical" in this industry. I listen to his podcast since it launched earlier this year. It's good stuff.

    Cheers,
    Carsten
