Performics Orange Links Primer

When I saw Sam Harrelson’s post to DoubleClick Performics “Orange Feeds”, over at AffiliateFortuneCookies.com (how did you come up with this name? ), did I decide to write another primer.

I hope the primer will help affiliates to make good use of this very helpful Performics feature. It is not very old yet. Performics introduced Orange Links last year in June.

The primer contains information about the available configuration options, the delivery options, the file name and format, and a documentation of the columns in the feed with comments and tips for the technical folks out there who import feeds into their own databases.

I already wrote in the past primers for the Linkshare Merchandiser program (that is the name of the Linkshare data feed feature) and the ShareASale data feed feature. The ShareASale product data feed primer is for affiliates and for advertisers as well. The Linkshare Merchandiser primer is for affiliates only, because I have no access to the merchant side of the Linkshare service to help you with a comprehensive guide there.

I wrote also a very specific guide for CJ advertisers about advanced CJ links and URL encoding. It explains how to setup advanced link in CJ that could be used to create product data feed links or links to any other page of your web site.
