CJ’s JavaScript Links for Content Pages

Ok, so I went to build a landing page for a merchant today utilizing their content links they provide in CJ and am presented with the new LMI code. CJ wants me to serve up the entire landing page as one JavaScript links. Nice! The search engine spiders are going to love that, and it’s going to be so easy to make modifications, add AdSense Code, and make changes so it’s not all just duplicate content.

So I click on the legacy link option to get the code and am now building out the page with the merchant’s content.

They have this link that says is it for email or not. You would think that the non-email version would be an html page with content and LMI javascript links in place where appropriate to build the content page and that if you check the email buton it would be all html. But I saw no visible difference between the email and non-email link, and all the links on the content page were legacy links.

Clearly they haven’t given enough thought to how content links should work yet…
