Angry Avon reps petition Avon over what they feel are unfair “selling conditions”.
We, the undersigned, petition to AVON to change the format of AVON.com to benefit the reps instead of hurting them. We ask that the site no longer offer specials and items that reps cannot offer to their customers, and for customers to no longer be able to order directly from AVON.com. Instead, we ask that the site refer the online customers to an e-rep in their area, by typing in their area code.
Looks like the problems inherit in the affiliate marketing space are just as bad in the reseller space. I find it interesting Avon has both a reseller program and an affiliate program. Perhaps many Avon reps would benefit from using the affiliate program to test market Avon products first or to capitalize on the products Avon keeps for themselves.
