AffiliateClassroomLIVE Event

The well regarded educational-minded company AffiliateClassroom is holding a live event just before the upcoming Affiliate Summit.

Learn from Actual Affiliate Managers…
Take Your Affiliate Management Abilities to the Next Level

Affiliate Manager Training is hard to find – but we’re bringing it to you LIVE on Saturday, February 23rd, the day right before The Affiliate Summit in a FREE, full-day session packed with how-to instruction from helpful teachers that will guide you through successful affiliate management.

AffiliateClassroomLIVE
will be held on Feb 23 at the same hotel as the Summit (the Rio) and feature a number of affiliate marketing experts and veterans speaking and leading sessions on pertinent information for both new and old affiliate managers.

Most interestingly, AffiliateClassroomLIVE is going to be providing an opportunity for affiliate managers to take part in the “ACCertified Affiliate Manager Training and Certification Course.” From the site:

Through an intuitive online training program we are building a host of trained, certified interactive marketing professionals. We join these certified individuals with merchants and advertisers who are looking for trained interactive marketing professionals to help them grow their businesses.

If you’re new to affiliate marketing and looking to find your feet as an affiliate manager, this could be a great opportunity for you to “get into the groove” early and make the most of Affiliate Summit. I wish there was an event or course like this when I was first getting started as an affiliate manager. As we all know, finding high quality direction or educational resources for new affiliate managers is tough, so I definitely think this is something the affiliate community needs to support.

[As a caveat, I am a member of the advisory board for the course, but I'm not receiving any sort of monetary compensation for this post or for my participation in the advisory board. I would have posted about the event regardless as I'm a former teacher and think education is power.]

It's odd, if you click on "register", then you get to a shopping cart that shows $97.00. $97 might be not much for such an event, but I thought that "FREE" implies $0.00 in registration fees. Maybe somebody made an error. Either the copywriter or the guy who setup the registration system :)

    Hey Casten,

Actually it's a $97.00 deposit to reserve your seat that will be refunded right after the event.

    Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for the info. I bet that it is mentioned somewhere on that page. Landing Page real world test hehe. I saw the red FREE, but I did not see the part regarding the deposit. I can't attend anyway (I booked everything already and arrive in LV on Sat. afternoon) and it would also not make too much sense for me, since I currently don't manage a program. I clicked on the register link only to find the location and start-end time. I didn't see the agenda links right away and expected to see those basic information right on the splash page.

Why was I curious? Because I added it to my industry event calendar, however, its one of the first things I look at when it comes to a real world event… WHAT?, WHEN? and WHERE? and then HOW MUCH? :)
