Affiliate Summit Day 3 – Vegas & Back

Answer: 12 minutes. Question: How fast Jim Kukral can run from concourse B to concourse C in Ohare (Chicago) airport to catch a connecting plane back to Cleveland to get home in time to put the kids to bed for the first time in 5 days.

I think I’m still breathing heavy from that run, but I made it! Which pretty much sums up my experience at the Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas. After a heavy travel day Wednesday, I can now collect my thoughts and say that this was simply the best event yet.

Personally, it was a GREAT show for me. Obviously the highlight was the honor of winning the Best Blogger award. What made that even better was that my award mysteriously showed up in the registration office the next day (all the way from the suite in the Wynn I guess). I’m not sure who misplaced it. Maybe somebody wanted to live out the fantasy of being the best blogger for 12 hours or so. Regardless, I have the award now and I’m grateful for it.

I thought my presentation went well, and I enjoyed giving it, and I hear the other presentations were high-quality as well. The rest of the show was extremely valuable as some BIG deals were made (stay tuned) and new friendships were created.

However, I got stuck with the flu bug the morning after my trip home and have been laid up sick for two days recovering. So that’s why no video review as planned. Ahh… Vegas.

So enough about my experience, what about yours? Leave a comment below. Back to bed for me.

Enjoy this video wrap up of the event that Shawn put together.
