1 Thing I Learned At Affiliate Summit

Here’s how it works – I say 1 thing I learned at The Affiliate Summit then I tag 5 other people and they have to reveal 1 thing they learned and tag 5 others!

1 Thing I Learned At Affiliate Summit
Seriously the one thing I not only re-learned but now reiterate to myself daily is that “one must never assume”. You truly know nothing about a company or a person until you have spent some time with them. There are so many people and companies that are in multiple verticals that they may not necessarily identify their “secret networks “to you without first going through the warm up stage. I found some of the most amazing contacts by spending time with them, explaining what my goals were for my programs and finding the right solution with them through partnerships or offline arrangement.

You should make it a point to stop by every booth, and explore the possibilities of a potential relationship with the exhibitor; you might be very surprised at what you find.

In my opinion, if a person is to truly grow in the online marketing environment, they need to allow everyone they meet a few seconds before they allow themselves to make a judgement on the oposite party.

If they don't they stand the chance of missing a lot of very good oportunities… they'll have no one else ot blame.

I think it's a very fine balance between knowing the value of your own time (so as not to waste it) and not pre-judging people too soon.

    Great post :o )

    Good Points Anita,

Leveraging relationships and opportunities must be cultivated on a professional level. Listening and exploring can help that relationship to foster into additional opportunities, I met many people with talents that can be combined to create something truly special.

    Have a great weekend
